FAQs

Do I have to have a referral to become a patient?

If you would like to see one of our Surgeons or Specialists you would need a referral from your GP or Specialist. A GP referral is valid for 12 months from date first seen unless marked indefinite and a Specialist referral is valid for 3 months from date first seen. You do not require a referral to see our Surgical Assistant, Physios, Podiatrist or Diabetes Educator.

How much will it cost to see one of your practitioners?

Each practitioner has their own schedule of fees, please call the clinic on 03 5442 5288 and one of our friendly team members will be able to provide further information.

Will there be a fee payable if I have surgery?

If you are required to have surgery you will be provided with an Estimate of Fees which will clearly outline if there will be an out of pocket fee payable and when that would need to be paid by. Hospital excess fees and anaesthetist fees will be confirmed by individual services and not from the clinic.

How long until I can drive after surgery?

Depending on what kind of surgery you undergo will vary on the time that you will be able to drive again. This will be discussed at the time of booking your surgery and at your first post-operative appointment 10—14 days after surgery.
